Ala Wai Canal Hydrographic Surveys

On several occasions over the years, Sea Engineering has been hired to conduct hydrographic surveys of the Ala Wai Canal in Honolulu.  In 2018, our team conducted a single beam and side scan sonar survey of the entrance channel area of the Ala Wai Canal.  The purpose of the survey was to:

• Provide updated depths
• Identify debris and possible obstructions on the seafloor
• Determine the feasibility of transporting and berthing a dredge scow through the area.
