Kuhio Beach Stub Groin Achieving Desired Result

Sea Engineering provided coastal engineering and permitting services for the construction of the Kuhio Beach Stub Groin.  The demonstration project consists of 2.5m³ ElcoRock bags forming a groin at Kuhio Beach. In a recent State of Hawaii, Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) news release, DLNR announces that the stub groin for the Kūhio Erosion Control Project is performing well, and achieving the desired result.
